Hello!
Thanks for stopping by. So, who am I, you ask?
I’m an experienced design and creative services leader with over 18 years in brand management. I specialize in developing and executing marketing, brand, and digital campaign strategies for technology, non-profit, corporate, and educational organizations. I love leading in-house creative teams and finding ways to “design on a dime.”
How did I get here?
Raised in an entrepreneurial family, I spent my early years in a machine shop. My dad, a machinist, could build and fix anything, and I was always fascinated by the computers running his machines. I started dabbling with computers early on, creating art and graphics with a cheesy Printshop Deluxe program. At 13, I designed my dad’s first logo, sparking my interest in design, layout, and typography.
I learned HTML in high school and briefly considered web design before pursuing a graphic design program at Sacramento State. While in college, I worked at the Student Union as a design intern, creating promotional materials for campus concerts, movies, and events. I was offered a full-time design management job on campus right after graduation, and the rest is history.
Since 2006, I’ve led and built creative teams, mentored countless students and design professionals, and shared my passion for building brand equity. After spending 12 years in higher education, I transitioned to tech, bringing my creative leadership to a new industry. Despite the competitive nature of tech, I’ve thrived and am ready for any challenge.
Outside of work?
I currently live in San Ramon, CA. You will usually find me with my cute little family, carting the kids around from place to place, constantly on the hunt to make time for snowboarding, hiking, and camping. I love boating, wake surfing, and anything adrenaline-inducing. My Labrador, Hazy, is my constant adventure companion… he’s a rescue, has one ear, and constantly tugs on every heart string I have. Fun fact: I am a closet woodworker, so you may also find me in my makeshift garage wood shop, creating furniture and other random projects from scrap wood. Plot twist, right?!
Thanks for taking the time to learn a little about me.
Cheers and happy designing!
Tiffany
